AKA people got up in the morning, tried to call her, got no response from her phone, so went to the hotel she was meant to be staying at to meet her / see if she was just recovering from a bad hangover. Hotel said she hadn't check in that night / there was no record of her coming back to her room. People got worried as she left the Twitch party quite drunk and seemingly alone the night before. I'd say they were right to be somewhat concerned.

FFS, people need to stop freaking out when they lose sight of a girl. They're people, they can make their own decisions and mistakes. If she really was kidnapped (which she f***ing wasn't) then we STILL should have waited three days before doing anything about it, just like we'd do for any boy that god kidnapped.

No-one knew where she was or what happened to her and she's not been seen for 20 hours. This wasn't just "She left the party early" this was the next day people who knew her couldn't find her or find out she was OK. They were told however she never made it back to her hotel room. It's not sexist for them to be concerned for a missing friend and you know what I shared it because if nothing else them finding out she was fine was worth while. Hell should could have been in an accident for all her friends knew, You know the kind of thing Drunk people tend to get in regardless of Gender.

Also, leaving out that she didn't show up for her scheduled panels the next day, which is the main thing that made her friends concerned about her whereabouts. But that doesn't help this dumb false equivalence about her just not being in someone's sight for a couple hours. A better comparison would be if two friends were out drinking (guys or girls, it doesn't matter) and one sees the other get into a cab. Then the next day that friend doesn't show up for an important presentation that has been scheduled at work for months and when the other tries to contact them they discover their phone is dead and when they check where they live they find no trace that they ever came home.
