Just kinda how I feel about it. I’ve never been a fan of bullying and people crapping on a guy like Reigns every week when they didn’t really dislike him, when all he wanted was fan support seems like a form of bullying. Yes cancer fucking sucks but do unto others even if they don’t have cancer. Pulling for you Roman!

^The reason behind the booing is what makes it such. No different than heckling a comedian. It’s a bad thing to do. Is it illegal? Of course not. Did those people pay for their tickets and whatnot? You bet. But when a guy is working for fan support and giving reasons to cheer but you boo him just to get under his skin, it’s certainly bullying. He's a performer and he got the world talking about him whether you love him or hate him. That's all any performer can ask for, and that's what he said was all he ever wanted in his promo tonight. You can point to the declining ratings but there's maybe a hundred different, legitimate reasons for why the TV ratings were going down for WWE (and in general). As the face of the company, as "The Guy" he led the company to it's most profitable era ever. Joe wouldn't have it any other way.

There are good guys and there are bad guys, and some inbetween. When you boo a good guy during a live show, best believe you’re screwing stuff up for the guy and the company. This is quite simple to grasp. It’s being an ass. Totally legal but equally shitty to do. The guy that a lot of people decided to crap on just for sport happened to be fighting for his life privately. There are two gut reactions: 1) feeling bad and doing a 180, and finally looking at him as a person 2) Defiantly pushing back and trying to justify your previous behavior.

Even talking about what people did in the past is irrelevant. I’m not a fan of the way the company used him or their “the guy” mentality. I know that living in the past is the ultimate corruption of the present and more than anything I know that human life is more valuable than anything else we can produce on this planet. I hope that Roman has the easiest possible fight against something awful and that he and his family will not have to feel any unnecessary pain because that’s all I can do. All that other shit is irrelevant and it’s sad that people use moments like this to “told ya so” and shame others into feeling bad. For me something people should take away from this is that you should never be scared to step away from something in order to take care of yourself and do what’s right. Recognize when something isn’t right inside you and address it. I grew up in a stubborn family that just tried to power through these kinds of things and it never worked out well for any of them. Be honest with yourself first, then the ones closest to you and that’s how a support net builds in hard times.

I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer February of 2017, and I've been on chemotherapy for two years now. Treatment was awful at first, but I managed to pull through and thankfully my cancer has been extremely receptive to the medicine they've been giving me.

Nothing wrong with booing Reigns. You do realize that there are people who don't like him as a wrestler right? You want them to start cheering Reigns all of a sudden now? That would be dumb.
Like I said, I don't like him as a wrestler and I boo him. I enjoy doing it and I can do it because it's a part of being a wrestling fan. I simply find him boring in the ring, he lacks charisma, and his promos are boring as hell. I can't stand him as a wrestler. Keyword: WRESTLER. I don't have any ill wishes towards him or anything. I don't know him as a human being.
I just want to add that since Reigns was a big part of RAW, he was the main focus. Why wouldn't I boo something or someone I don't like? Wrestling fans get to boo and cheer who they want to and not just what WWE wants them to. Can I stop watching WWE? Sure, but I'm not going to do that just because of one wrestler I don't like even if he brings down the enjoyment of the show because he's such a big part of it.
There's nothing wrong with booing Reigns, the wrestler. No one should feel guilty for booing Reigns, the wrestler.

I’m not terribly convinced that the people who entered this topic to flame me are very secure in their decision or reasoning. Roman’s announcement shook me up and I’m very glad that I always showed him the support he was looking for. Sure that’s one way to do it. I’ve always liked the faces and disliked the heels. They try to get us to do that. There’s definitely some truth to what you’re saying. My main point though was that the audiences now are far more unpredictable and fickle than back in the day that birthed the Rock and Stone Cold as stars. It was easier to listen to them and go their direction back in those days. I feel like I keep having to say that it’s ones right to cheer or boo whomever they want but a guy like Orton when he’s a face would fight hard for one liners and exciting rko spots just as when he’s a heel he loves going against top faces and doing sickening deeds to garner heat.
