I got the email from Walmart about 20 minutes ago and I also purchased two. One for me and one for my brother for Christmas. My brother may end up purchasing one though so if that happens and I don't have anyone else to gift it to (my brother in law possibly), then I'll sell it to someone for the price that I paid for it. I don't want to screw anyone over or promote this scalping nonsense. Walmart still has stock it looks like. I'm surprised it hasn't wiped already. They must have pretty good supply.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the value in a glorified emulator and a bunch of roms of games from two decades ago. Nintendo all about that absolute bulls***, at most this should cost $40 and that's even a stretch.

I just happened to be checking my email when the Walmart alert email appeared. Compete dumb luck. I was ahead of Slickdeals and several other Twitter accounts that alert me regarding games and sneaker releases. So keep an eye on your email. If Walmart did the preorder now, Amazon can't be too far behind.

This means I'll have to stay up until 4 am again for Prime. Fuuuuuuu- Still remember having to wake up at 7:00 after staying up until 4:00 am for the Switch pre order. Waiting paid off I guess, but hot damn was that a bad day.

If Amazon does it the way they've been doing Amiibo, you won't be able to pre-order one. You'll have to check the page at about 1:00 PM EST on release day.
