    2016: NES Classic $59 USD
    2017: SNES Classic $79 USD
    2018: N64 Classic $99 USD
    2019: Gamecube Classic $119 USD

Nintendo will treat this like Disney Classics with years later re-releases with revised game libraries.

I don't foresee a lot of titles on the N64 or Gamecube, but whatever.

The N64 one would be the best, easily. I would want a PS1 mini if I could have anything though, but Sony are f***ing pissing in our faces these days, so nope.

    Wait...

The N64 came AFTER the SNES? And BEFORE the Gamecube?!

    What a hot scoop!

ps1 mini would be amazing especially if the right games get licensed out, 20 games for the mini would be good

I still maintain such a system canabilizes their individual sales mandate too much.

Now this sounds like a better idea. You could probably fill a PSX Mini with the year 1998 alone.

They're not releasing it next year.

sony fanboys too dumb to know things about royalties and rights that the ps1 mini would have a lot of crap games to replace good games with high licensing and royalty fees.
sony doesnt own many ip's of good ps1 games.

N64 mini can't have most Rare games so it would suffer a lot.
Are you as gr8 as I am???????? ::::)
I'm glad these highly paid analysts are available to give us this scoop.
An N64 Classic after the SNES Classic? You don't say.

Yep, Nintendo doesn't have the rights to the N64's best games. They would need to relicense from Rare, RockStar, etc. Never happen.

    Mario 64
    Mario Kart 64
    Ocarina of Time
    Majora's Mask
    Paper Mario
    F-Zero X
Donkey Kong 64 (recently released on Wii U VC)
    Star Fox 64
    Kirby and the Crystal Shards
    Pokémon Snap
    Pokémon Puzzle League
    1080 Snowboarding
    Wave Race 64
    Pilotwings 64

Oh gee 13 games right there that were directly made by Nintendo and one that shows that there's more wiggle room to the Rare situation than people seem to realize.

And since there's been a Mega Man game on the NES and SNES Classic so far, we could reasonably add:

Mega Man 64 (aka Mega Man Legends)

...and Konami's been in on these too, so let's say:

    Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
    Bomberman 64

Yeah i think people would buy this even without Rare's overrated handful of games (which, again, are clearly not as locked down as you seem to think).

And none of this matters because no one aside from scalpers can get any.

I could easily see Nintendo making a deal with MS for Rare games, though it would likely result in a higher price.

My concern is that N64 games just don't look good on modern HD T.Vs. They'd have to atleast do some upscaling or something

    @Bigdoug14

People want more than just Nintendo games if an N64 classic were to happen. Also, storage size.

I don't see this system happening. Neither do I see a PlayStation or even a Dreamcast mini for different reasons.
