because it allows him to have that "holier than thou" attitude regarding both major parties. he can claim "I'm not a Liberal" and then s*** all over Liberals while also saying "I'm not Conservative" so you can't say "But Conservatives usually do or think ___". self-proclaimed "Libertarians" often do this and carry around that "holier than thou because I'm mentally liberated enough not to be a sheeple and join one of the two mainstream parties" attitude.

However this is the usual nonsense the far-left are engaging in nowadays, anything that doesn't outright call the other side (to them) Hitler is Hitler. Last but not least, anyone who doesn't agree with them 100% (especially when these horrible centrists wish to actually hear both sides) do not even deserve to be spoken to or engaged with.....f*** their rights!
