She paid for hers and she then handed him cash to pay for his 3. She then walked out by herself with all 6. To top it off Walmart screwed up and gave her the only two neons that were meant for two other preorder folks there. So she walked off with two neons and four gray. Probably trying to sell them as we speak. Hope Nintendo floods the market and she has to eat them. She'd been mouthing off in line earlier too. Was basically just a real douche. I get why people do it and that the rules are what they are....but when you see the actual a-holes in the flesh and they have a really bad attitude...it really kinda sickens you. I was lucky enough to get one though without a preorder. Really like it so far. |

sony has e3 2017, 2018 and e3 2019 to promote ps4. relax with that nextgen talk.

When I picked my Switch up at 5am this morning they were looking for mine in their cop of pre - order sheets. Kept naming off the names as they sorted through out loud for some reason. One guy had 5 and the lady says "how many does hit guy have". #Scalper

Well my little hick town is all sold out of them.
I've always been good not pre-ordering for my PS4, the Xbone and my WiiU. First time I've struck out without a pre-order ever. Good news for Nintendo perhaps.

The only way to beat scalpers is not to buy their overpriced goods. As long as we have suckers who keep paying out their a** for stuff, the scalpers will be encouraged.

Well, I thought about just returning mine, since it seemed the ebay prices went down. But now I am seeing some people are paying $500 today so it must still be scarce in some places.
I think I messed up by listing the console, Zelda, and pro controller together. Because for some dumb reason I see people on ebay listing all together for a lot less than they're selling for separately (combined). Again, I didn't go out PLANNING to sell anything. But while I was out decided to buy an extra and now I am even tempted to get rid of both because so many say switch Zelda isn't worth hundreds above wii u zeal.

I hope you're all happy. I see some selling on ebay where, after fees, it would be a LOSS for me to do it. At least when selling the console, game , and pro controller together. Maybe I should try selling the console and controller separately and return the game.
Looks like the ones who sold the actual preorders came out the best. Now even the console is selling for under $400 on ebay at times and barely over it at max. This may force me to keep one of the Switches because I bought a $400 gift card to purchase it with, so I would be stuck with money invested in a giftcard with nothing at best buy I want, if I don't keep the switch. Or else I'd have to hurry and sell it on ebay where after fees it only breaks me even, before event hat is impossible.

So it doesn't matter were as if they can't sell the thing for more than retail, the ideal they get burned. They have to forfeit money to sell on eBay. This means thet technically don't brake even, they eat the cost of selling for MSRP because no one is buying for more. Point is if you can get one, no one is willing to pay above MSRP. This means shipping cost, money to use sales website, and other small fees become eaten by the scalper. The loss is minor, but it eats into the tiny profit they made, like the few extra bucks on marked up amiibo, so we can laugh. Obviously the real kicker is true product failure, but unfortunately such a thing isn't for the Product supporter. So no one wants that to happen(well out side Animal Crossing Amiibo Scalpers LOL, they got burned, and no one cared). |

Only way I am burned, like I said, is I bought a gift card for one of them, so would be stuck with a gift card waiting to spend it on something. the reason I did that is cashstar had a deal where you get $40 bonus gift certificates if you spend $400 on best buy gift cards and ITHOUGHT I had decided I'd keep a switch. But now I am considering keeping the wii u Zelda instead.

A lot of times fees are less than 10% at Amazon, though, but 13% at ebay if you use paypal. I have bought items on GREAT deals and still barely got any profit due to fees. Recently, I sold a TiVo and after fees I gained a whole $1 profit. lol. And that's due to a $5 credit at stamps.com or I would have lost money.

Just got back from Fedex store, shipped 2x copies of the Master edition for Zelda. Paid $103 a piece, after shipping and fees, I made $170 profit off each copy. For the effort of ordering off Best buy, listing it on Amazon, resealing the box with a label and shipping it out... be angry at scalpers all you want, but I just paid for my Switch by doing that. I have one more copy, I'm going to risk holding onto it for a few years and see where it leads. Could be worth a lot more, or could be worthless... but since I already made enough to make me happy, I'm gonna gamble with this one.

Yeah, Zelda master edition as the way to go on profiting. I looked for some in stores, somewhat, but people working there were clueless. Funny, since one store was gamestop. you'd think a store with "game" in the title would have people who knew whether or not they had master editions.
So now I am making no profit, which makes the decision harder as to whether to keep a switch for myself or not. I was selling one to try to offset a bit of cost to me on the other.
