- Scariest part of a Trump presidency?
There are a lot of things to be troubled by. Having a race war, no more freedom of the press, health care hitting the toilet, education, trade wars, the cyber, the indiscriminate nuclear first strike of any whoever called him a meany head on Twitter... What factor do you find the most concerning (if you're to take him at his word) of a potential Trump presidency?

Even aside from the Supreme court?
Trump can appoint literally thousands of appointees. From the EPA officials, to the new director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or the new policy and strategy chief at U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services...or a new member of the National Labor Relations Board, or even chief number cruncher at the Census Bureau. And the Civil Rights office of the DOJ. And god knows how many lower court appointments...

Even aside from the Supreme court? It's sort of a way to cheat and just say 'everything', but a valid point. Of all things, I'm nervous about how things would play out with Russia. His relationship with Putin concerns me the most.

As has already been stated, Trump's ability to appoint individuals to key positions within the government along with Supreme Court appointments.
On a personal level, and what concerns me the most, are the things that Trump and his supporters will attempt to do to roll back rights for disabled people. We are already second-class citizens, but as aweful as the situation currently is, it would be much worse under a Trump presidency.

From the education front, it's the idea of running education like he runs his businesses. Even setting aside the question of charters and privatization, it's absolutely impossible for me to imagine that gutting IDEA wouldn't be a priority of his, if he ever stopped to think about education at all. From the business perspective, you're dealing with "defective products." Would a businessman like him fix those products, or cut their losses and worry about the non-defective products? And don't say that I'm thinking conspiracy or what not... It's already a reality that children with special needs are the ones who are getting hit the worst by the charter movement.

Yeah, haven't really heard him talk about education. Maybe a line here or there about 'bringing it back to the states'.
I used to be a teacher. Went off to try something new. I liked my teaching job, but in this new job and looking back its rough to see just how tough and ungrateful it was. If the business I work for now fails I'll probably head back to education but... I'm looking at that possibility with increasing dread.

Trump talks a lot about ending common core and bringing education locally. Honestly, that isn't really the problem. Common core isn't really a problem (although I don't personally like it that much) - the problem is the increasing privatization of education and how states and county governments basically bend over backwards and give education companies and charter schools whatever they ask for. Pearson Education must have one hell of a lobbyist on staff.
