I was not, but I'm betting people would make a gimmick out of me should I constantly spam about my depression day in and day out. Replace depression with dating troubles, or court issues, it doesn't matter. Dawkins put himself in his own situation, and the trolls jumped on the bandwagon that Dawkins built for them. It doesn't make what the trolls do "right", but it doesn't mean Dawkins is in the right either.
Regarding the trolls and stalkers: It goes without saying but those people get off on this kind of stuff, and we all know this. You can only ignore them and move on. I got stalked on the Smash Bros Brawl boards back in the day by people that beat me in 1v1s. You slap them to the ignore list and you move on with life. Let their unheard cries do just that, go unheard. Threatening legal action because some guy on a video game message board slandered you is laughable at best.

I assume that's been fixed by now whatever it was. I didn't have him on Skype so I don't know what he was doing exactly. I'd like to know more if you have some data on how moderations work and how many suspensions are downgraded to warnings. Because I agree with Franklin based on my own experience and observations, but if you have some facts that contradict those I'd like to know about them. Right now the moderation system appears to be completely disorganized and largely based on mod discretion which is incredibly inconsistent and even seemingly biased.
Plus the way they'll hold off on moderating messages until they can nail you with a few all at once is an insanely stupid way of handling things. Especially with how many mods have been proven to target posters they disagree with.Now you can't call me a sigless user.

You're missing the point. You are believing Dawkins is in the right in his arguments and situations and then claiming after that axiom that people are harassing him. It's the opposite. Dawkins has situations where he is very clearly in the wrong, and people are attempting to tell him he is in the wrong. Some less courteous than others, but ultimately the same message.

I don't see how it's justifiable to do this to anyone, his disability just adds to the shittiness of these monsters. I mean there's a big difference between trolling someone on CE and compiling info on him to continually and consistently harass him here and then elsewhere when he leaves.
Also, what's him being high functioning got to do with anything? It's pretty obvious that most if not all of the issues people have with him are due to or at least exacerbated by his mental health issues. So you're still using someones mental handicap as an excuse to harass him.
If it was limited to trashing him on CE when he started acting up, which he was quite prone to do, I'd see nothing wrong with that since it's a natural reaction to his behavior.
