This election was a great way to show us how our diverse multicultural country is divided.
It's to be expected when you encourage people to celebrate our differences instead of our similarities. It's to be expected when you encourage people to be unique/separate culturally instead of sharing the different benefits, cultural solutions that we all bring to the table. It's what happens when 5th column illegal migrants make their way in and make themselves welcome.
It's to be expected when you tell people that they're victims only because the majority made them that way, instead of showing them that we all have problems that we should work on together as brothers/sisters, countrymen/women instead of shaming and despising each other for those problems.
It's to be expected when we live in a country that's become unpatriotic. When we don't see that we're all under one flag, that we're all one people, neighbors sharing this land and it's joys and struggles.
It's to be expected when we war over little things just because we don't want to take responsibility for our own actions and rather blame others so we don't deal with feeling like our lives could have been better if we put more effort into it.
But most of all, it's to be expected when we don't care or love each other because of the color of our skin, because of the gender we were born with, and because we don't want to understand each other, we don't want to help each other, we just want to be served but not serve others.
It's a sad country we live in, and I just wish we could all see each other as people, friends, neighbors who need help and work together to make everyone's lives easier..but instead we have invaders you cannot trust and that aren't supposed to be here.
It's sad, but yes, you WILL be going home; because you aren't supposed to be here.
A business client just asked me out of the blue on the spot like he was sizing me up what I thought about the president and I said a pretty neutral answer so he keeps buying my shit and it seemed to go over well, thought it might not because he's Mexican and his sjw gf was with him. Luckily I was off of my day job on election day and the day after and no one asked me about politics today and hopefully they won't. I'm not pro trump but not being completely against him could fuck up some business relationships in the industry im in
