Ex Employee at Eagle

29 Oct 2014
I worked for Eagle Industries this past summer for about a month. The head guys there are Amir (trainer-unknown last name), Dan Cioe(manager), Fyland Gallagher(vice-president), and Richard Marshall (President). Amir is a small minded, egocentric individual, while Dan is jacked roid-head, smooth-talking Italian. I had respect for Dan in the beginning, but realized he was nothing but a con-artist. I don't know what to make of Fyland, he seems like he may be slightly mentally challenged or something. Richard is a middle-aged, botox, frosted tip, CEO- looking 'wannabe' and absolute loser.

This company attempts to prey on desperate and weak-minded individuals who are looking for work, and will hire anyone that responds to their ad (on indeed.ca). There is a 4-day, unpaid "training" period, where they attempt to brainwash the individuals they hire, basically telling them they're worthless if they do not succeed at Eagle Industries. Then, they make the employees train with there families, hoping they'll sell to them, thus, leaving them stuck with a 10-year bill for a $7000, water system. With interest, the system becomes double that over a 10-year period.

The product itself is a legit water purification system and truly does work (from what I could tell; who knows if the tests they provide are legit or not), but it certainly is not worth $7000 (or rather, $14,000 over 10 years).
The truth is, they do not care if the employees work out after training, because they know at least some of them will sell to their families. If some of them do work out, all the better. They will probably make them part of their con team.

They also like to tell the individuals they hire at first, that there is no door-to-door selling, but that is a crock. They telemarket and ask to do surveys, or they provide scratch tickets at bingo halls that say "call this number to collect your prize and a free water sample, and then send a fool out to do their dirty work.

The last part of the training is to go over ways to get into a person's home if they do not want you in there. It is a pretty extensive script which they want you to memorize, and get angry if you cannot. Employees are also told not to take "no' for an answer.

These guys are truly robbing the money right from the poor, unsuspecting individuals they sell to, and are getting rich because of it. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Do not take the job, if offered. I really wish I had read some of these testimonials before I wasted my time, energy and money on this company.

These people constantly contradict one another and often claim the opposite of what another says. Do not listen to the smooth-talking Italian, Dan Cioe. He is nothing but a sad con-man, with nothing but his "Caddy".

Richard seems to be the ring leader (hence, he is the CEO). It appears that he changes the name of this company every few years and begins selling other pyramid scheme products. In 2007-2010, the company was called Global Air Care, and they sold air purification systems. In 2011, it was called Marshall Eco Smart Solutions (I'm not sure what they sold at this point). And now, of course, they are called Eagle Industries and they sell water purification systems. RIchard ran all three of these companies. They do not tell you this in training, I discovered this from weeks of research upon leaving the company (and yes, I was not paid the amount I was promised; they still owe me at least $500 in promised bonus', which I do not expect to collect). I do not even care about the money, I wanted to get out as fast as I could, but was desperate at the time, and held onto the it because I needed any job. This was one of the worst choices I've ever made, and my poor father (who bought a system from me), is stuck with a bill for the next ten years. Richard claimed that he cried when he went into an individuals house because they couldn't afford the system, he said he felt bad for them. Don't be fooled, he is a con artist and would rob that family blind if he could.

Also, their facebook positive testimonials are absolute bullshit. Do not read what current employee's are saying. They're made up.
