Ontario Water Scammers

Hey Everyone,

I can verify the information shared by the Ex Eagle Water employee on Oct 29 2014-11-09 and so I will try and expand on what they wrote. 

I worked for Eagle Industries and went through their ‘vigorous’ training process.

The head managers are Dan Cioe, Fyland Gallagher, and Richard Marshall. Amir Ahmed is the training manager. 

They post their job listings on Indeed and other relevant job websites. If you google “Eagle water indeed” you can see that they have Eagle Water of Ontario but if you type in “EIC indeed” then you can see that they are also posting under EIC so they can avoid the bad reviews and also scam more job seekers.

In my training class there were 15 people. Each person was asked to demo the presentation to 6 homeowners that we are close with and they will give fair ‘feedback’. However they also tell you that the golden ticket is ‘referrals’. At the end of the training week – from Tuesday to Friday, then you have the weekend to pitch to your family and friends and sell them so you can ‘pass’ training.

15 new hires each week multiplied by 6 homeowner leads per new hire = 90 leads. They openly tell you that their selling ratio is 1 out 4 for their generated leads and 1 out 3 people will buy. Their main source of income must be the people seeking employment each week as an almost guaranteed source of income through referral leads. My family and friends were only too enthusiastic to help me succeed at my new job and after finding out the truth about this company afterwards it really hurt my relationships with them knowing I helped these people scam my family and friends unknowingly.

The company itself has been many names: Global Air Care, Marshall Eco Solutions, World Wide Industries, etc. They lie and tell you that the company has been around for 38 years but they just roll the company over and start a fresh new scam every time it becomes known to the general public. They may also be working along with other scam water companies which are run by employees who previously worked for Richard Marshall. They bring up a man named Dennis Lynch as the company founder but nothing can be found on him or his connection to it and I doubt the Lynch family realizes his name is being dragged through the mud. 

You can google – “CBC Water Scam” and see that they have investigated this company before and under different names.

In training they gloat about preying on vulnerable groups like elderly and lower income families. It may also be possible that they con their own family and friends to give the impression that their company and what they are doing to earn an income is just an every day job like anyone else would be doing to earn an income.

Dan claims he makes over $150,000 a year. Fyland ‘wont say his highest amount’ but has claimed over 450+ sales a year which would be over $450,000. You can only imagine how much Richard makes being at the top of the scam pyramid. 

They tell you that they generate their leads and homeowners literally call them day and night because their water problems are so bad especially in rural places. They love to go on ‘road shows’ so they can scam people in rural areas as well as the inner cities. The sad fact is they have a woman named Jocelyn Sim working in the office who coordinates the “appointment setters” (which is another job posting they have on indeed). The appointment setters are actually telemarketers who return calls about the lottery tickets they send out. The customers get the tickets and ‘win’ but they don’t realize they don’t actually win a prize. They only win the opportunity for an Eagle sales rep to go and pitch them in their home for something they do not necessarily need. 

A little background on each of them:

Dan Cioe is a wannabe actor who enjoys getting his rocks off scamming elderly couples and bullying them into buying his systems. You can google his name and see that he has twitter and ‘sales training’ websites where he plagiarizes Anthony Robbins, a real sales trainer. He juices up and comes out to do his part of the training program but at the end of the day the other poster is right. He is just a man with a ‘caddy’. He gloats about his car and wealth and how he has a poor upbringing and he does it for his mother but really what parent would endorse their child to con groups of people out of thousands of dollars to give her a nice ride in a Cadillac. He is a loser, a liar, and it is disgusting that this company hires actors like Dan to make their story more believable. 

Fyland tells you about his ex wife supported him as a nurse then got pregnant and he got this job and worked hard and made it big...except he dumped his wife and kid and started juicing up on the hard earned money of other people. If his numbers are real then he is even worse than Dan because of how many people he’s scammed and he looks at you with his cross eyes and knows you won’t make fun of him because you are polite and nice but really his inability to look you straight in the eyes is his karma for what he does to other people.

Amir is young but still an adult and knows what he is doing. I wanted to cut him slack because he is younger and has a very convincing story to go along with the other managers. But at the end of the day he is just a wannabe thug as well. He wears nice clothing to present himself well but has no shame in lying to your face and making the environment as comfortable and friendly as possible for the scam. He sweet talks but you can tell he is insecure about his height and his ability to really bring it since the product he is selling and the entire company is a sham. He gloats about scamming minorities as well as the others as the BK NY Prince Ahmed. Everyone bow to his greatness and small man syndrome. 
Jocelyn Sim is the head secretary who helps con the homeowners out of their money. She aggressively deals with the customers who complain and I heard her encouraging the appointment setters to make sure they get those appointments. I also believe she is the person responding to the Better Business Bureau complaints on their website because she can’t give any legitimate reasons or solutions on there for their unethical business practices. She drives a mini cooper with her little toto dog because she is the wicked witch and physically looks it as well. 

Richard Marshall talks about his Sony career and how he left because he wanted to be a millionaire. He doesn’t tell you that he is scamming Canadians and that you and your inner circle will also be scammed by the end of training. He tells you about the lavish lifestyle he provides his family and friends using the money he scams from everyone. He tells you that “other water companies” do shady business but they have been around for 38 years. You can tell he is an alcoholic and probably spends his money faster than he can scam others out of it which is why he is so gung ho on the new hires selling to your family and friends before the weekend is up or you don’t ‘pass training’. 

My biggest problem is that they have access to the job seekers personal information and the ability to process credit applications. 

When you receive the job you have to fill out their paperwork and give them your SIN, drivers license and more. You also give them the information of 6 homeowners that you know personally. All of this information is then sold to other telemarketer scams as leads. They say they are TD platinum verified but even through google you cannot find anything even regarding TD platinum certifying any business not only Eagle Water. 

The only way to stop these people is to make a list of all the clients or people they have scammed or expose them on CBC again so that anyone they sold to can come forward and we can start a class action law suit against them.  The RCMP will be contacted about this and their scamming ways. Spread the word so others know and aren’t duped by them. They scam people all across Canada and even the smaller communities so spread the word and help your fellow Canadian.

They scam everyone, from desperate job seekers to vulnerable homeowners.
