..and yet you all still go on with this 'moral grandstanding' shtick, pointing fingers at the protests and claiming yourselves to be "right", as if the world has paid no attention to Trump; the lunatic with murderous intentions, and his neo-nazi followers, as of late.
So let's recap. For starters, you have a US presidential hopeful (That's US PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL, not some mere pundit, for those who wonder what the big deal is) who evokes the spirit of that hate and violence through his rhetoric by encouraging attacks on protesters and the systematic murder of families of suspected terrorists abroad. You have his worshipers being showcased as a violent and hateful mob, pushing and shoving the protesters, yelling hateful obscenities ranging from "go back to Africa" to "go back to Auschwitz" and "light that motherf***er on fire". And knowing that the world has viewed all of this and continues to view it, the best response you have is "look at the protesters; they're blocking traffic." Really?
I understand 'damage control' and all that, but I'm just wondering how you all think that this 'moral finger-pointing' technique is going to get over considering that...well...any moral credibility you may have had up to this point is pretty much gone, now. Do you honestly expect a sensible person to be more outraged by protests than the murderous rhetoric of a potential POTUS or the violent and racist behavior of his followers? Hell, that person would be more likely to join in the protest.
You guys need to stop finger pointing and start "regrouping", because whatever the protesters do now simply isn't going to compare to a hatemonger with terrorist ambitions and his flock.
