The one thing I liked about GAF was their nice organized OT threads. Along with other quite informative threads like the TV, PSpro enhanced games, X1X enhanced games lists, upcoming games etc. Which is kind of missing from a forum and would be nice to have somewhere.
What if NGG did something similar with threads like that, wouldn't that be nice?

They had this coming for all of the pointless bans, among other things. I don't think I've seen many people even half as full of it as EviLore. =/
Not to mention the REASONS for some bans. I made two accounts on there, one of them being banned because I said I *used* to have a hacked Wii, and another because I said I didn't think having child porn on one's hard drive explicitly meant they were THE offender. It's like... why have a dissenting opinion? The sad thing is, I've heard of even STUPIDER reasons for bans than mine. I can't even. Lurking > All with that site

I always thought something was "off" About the NeoGAF leadership ever since the owner rejected requests to temporarily change the logo to tribute the passing of Iwata, yet they kept a LGBT banner up for a month following the Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage in the US. He basically stated Iwata's death wasn't as a significant event as the SC decision, why is all kinds of messed up for a Gaming forum to take that position. (And I say this as a member of the LGBT community)

Lower key NeoGAF drama (just a mod stepping down or some internal drama) would likely be viewed as off-topic. The biggest issue with all of this, is that GAF was a great source of information, news, and insider info for the gaming industry. I'm not talking about the stupid political off topic side of things. As a strictly gaming forum, losing neogaf is a very bad thing. I hope it comes back in some form, hopefully without shitty people at the helm.
