Now I bought some from Localbitcoins and it's sat in my wallet on that site.
What next? I honestly have no idea what I am doing. People talk about lost HDDs with Bitcoins on. How do I store them? Are they not just kept at Localbitcoins? I'm a complete novice at this.

I dont use localbitcoins and they have been around for a long time. But the whole point of Bitcoin is for it to be decentralized and you take responsibility for your own keys and not give power to bug entities. People in crypto dont want to hear anyone b**** and moan if a site like localbitcoin lost your funds or ran away with your money because it was essentially made to avoid that and people still store and trust their coins with someone else.

Uhhh, yeah. Bad idea. Don't buy bitcoin if you don't understand it. It's too risky. The rising price looks nice until you realize it has just as much potential to come crashing down. Better to buy a stock index or a mutual fund.
Although I assume you're young, so some high-risk buys and losses could be healthy in teaching you a few lessons.

I've only invested £50.00 to begin with so it's nothing at all to worry about. I just have no idea how to store it.
I downloaded GreenAddress and sent my money there but now what? I have to ensure this phone never gets lost or what?
