UnfairRepresent 23 hours ago#1 About 9,150 baseballs and bats have been stolen from 18 schools in five prefectures, the National Police Agency said Friday. According to police, the sports gear was stolen from high schools in Tochigi, Saitama, Gunma, Ibaraki and Fukushima prefectures between mid-July and Aug 16, Fuji TV reported. The baseballs and bats were stolen from storerooms belonging to the schools’ baseball clubs, police said. In some cases, the doors on the storage cabinets were not locked; in other cases, locks were broken, police said. And Japan takes school sports and other clubs seriously. They get budgets and everything. And the budgets can be immense if it's a large enough club.
