- Blacks seem to get special treatment on game shows hosted by a black person
I'm of course talking about Steve Harvey's Family Feud and Wayne Brady's Let's Make A Deal. I'm watching a rerun of a Family Feud episode right now and a black guy clearly gave an answer late, but Harvey gave it to him and it happened to win that family the game over the other family, which of course was white. It's not just this episode, I've noticed this happen on multiple occasions. Not just that, but whenever a white family member gives an answer at the buzzer, Harvey says it wasn't in time and the other family (usually black) gets a chance to win or take control.
With LMAD, Brady usually picks a black person to play a car game. Very rarely have I seen a white person play for a car unless it's the big deal at the end of the show (the part where contestants can choose to give up a deal they won earlier in the show; highest money maker gets asked first). The only time a white contestant has a chance to play for a car (outside of the big deal) is when they compete with a black person in a game like Rock Paper Scissors where the loser of that game goes back to their seat empty handed. My point? Blacks should stop getting special treatment because of who the host is. Everyone should be treated equally and fairly. It's pretty clear to me that there's some racism going on in these game shows. I don't see this problem with white game show hosts like Drew Carey or Pat Sajak. They know to treat everyone fairly and equally, so why is that so hard for Harvey and Brady to do? Are they trying to send a message? If so, then it's a crappy message. One race should not rule over the other. |
With LMAD you're definitely reading into something that isn't there
Steve Harvey is equal parts incompetent and racist so you could easily be right or he could just be f***ing up nonstop |

Not sure about what you said, but I feel like Family Feud always has a black family on. Black people like Steve Harvey

Wayne Brady isn't Black

I don't like Steve's country ass. But he has people in his ear telling him when people can go or not. I even remember on time when he said point point to a white family that he was trying give it to him. Next I am pretty sure Wayne doesn't pick people either .

Can't speak fopr wayne brady, but its definitely true for harvey. This clip really shows it perfectly. On one hand he's obviously acting how he's acting for the sake of humor and the audience, but he's clearly overstepping his position as an impartial game host and essentially giving the mom on the black family a ton of extra chances instead of just taking her answer the first time, he legit tries talking her into answering differently, AT LENGTH lol. I don't dislike the guy, but he really went overboard showing clear bias on this one. Take the families answer and see if its on the board, and move on dude lol

Because on those shows that sassy black families get higher ratings. Steve does a banter with them and asked them questions with suggestive answers just so they can have a clip for it later in a "raunchiest moments" clip show
Example. "Name someplace you put your fingers?" "Oh Lord forgive me for saying this, but I'm gonna say my wife" *Steve falls down like he was just sniped. The wife screams "aww hell naw!" And the rest of the family jumps around pointing like b2k in you got served"

In the case of the clip i posted, harvey is honestly playing both sides against the middle. He plays it up to give the black family like 7 extra chances to answer right since he's trying his damndest to tell them "no THATs not the answer" while at the same time mocking the hell out of them for the sake of some funny footage. On both counts, he really took it too far and kinda made a mockery of the family. But he's getting paid so he probably doesn't care lol

I think Steve realizes the family is stupid and just wants the show to be more entertaining. There was no chance they were going to win anyway.

Of course Black people are biased towards other blacks. It's been engraved in our culture since slavery. Slavery created this us vs them mentality so thank the early history of the US.
