All Trump is doing is playing to his base. He only won a few key rust belt states by around 80,000 votes combined, and still lost the popular vote by almost 3 million. Were democrats cocky in assuming these rust belt states were a lock? Yes, but now they know to focus on them in 2020. Trump has already lost at least 5% of his supporters according to a poll a few months ago. That's over 3 million voters who will not vote for Trump again. Trump is at historic lows in approval ratings, especially with independents. When rust belters feel that the "thousands of jobs" Trump supposedly saved at companies like Carrier and Ford who only ended up moving the jobs to Mexico anyway, coal mining jobs not coming back, etc, Trump has dug himself into a hole he cannot come out of. Right now Obamacare is more popular than Trump. TrumpCare will kill any chance Republicans have in 2018. Millions of people also either voted for Trump, didn't vote at all, or voted third party because they didn't like Clinton. If someone say like Biden who has widespread popular support, decides to run, it's going to be a massacre in 2020 for Trump.

Clinton had widespread popular support in 2013. 69%, higher favorability than Biden right now. Don't assume that when Biden's corporate voting record comes to light his favorables won't crash too. |

That was before the hysteria of "Bengerzi!11!! and but her emales!!11". Biden as far as we know, doesn't have any "scandals" like that. Biden is also extremely popular among young voters. Just look at how popular Biden memes were |

You expect young voters to know anything about anything. Sanders had little to no legislative accomplishments, or accomplishments of anything really, but they ate up him. Young voters know Biden as the VP. They won't care about his voting record. They'll say "thats not the Biden I know." |

Republicans can only lose 2 votes in the Senate because of it. |
Maybe run Jerry Brown? I disagree with many of his stances but others I do agree with.
http://www.ontheissues.org/Jerry_Brown.htm great website btw. I mean he loses my vote on federal funded abortions, abortions in general alone but he has other stances such as investing in infastructure as a main priority, and focus on schools. He's also anti death penalty.

Trump will win with even more votes in 2020, as more people are making the jump to the right because of the lefts hysterical reactions to trump winning. He's exposed the monster for all to see, and it's one of the main reasons why I wanted him to win. He changed the rules of the game, made people self-reflect, and now politics and the interactions with it will never be the same. As a result, people who would never have had a chance at entering politics or becoming president, now has a shot at it. It stuns me to think people wanted Hillary in, nothing would of changed at all, and our relations with russia would of been so much worse as a result. It wouldn't of forced the left to reflect on their regressive views, and censorship / pc culture would be unrestrained. Like it or not, Trump is the catalyst for the evolution of politics. And in the long run, you will be thankful for it, regardless of his policies.

If Democrats nominate another unlikable, corrupt, corporate s***bag *like Hillary again, Booker, or Warren) which this past election has proven that are clearly stupid enough to do, Trump will get another 4 years.

This is the key point right here. He won by a razor thin margin in 2016 among voters that don't typically lean republican, he'll need to expand his base to win in 2020.
He's sitting on approval ratings below 40% and this is with low unemployment and an economy that's generally seen as in good shape. Odds are good that a recession will happen before 2020, and that will do him no favors. It will rain soon. Blood will fall like rain...-Karel

To be fair, Obama was a subpar President and the mainstream media did go seventeen miles out of their way to lie about so many things pertaining to the election overall leading up to it, during it, and afterward.
Those aren't things that require one to be a Trump supporter to recognize.
It's extremely frightening people are willing to accept media manipulation if it means not getting a racist in office or whatever. And embracing that kind of mentality can set a much more dangerous precedent and cause far more longterm damage than any Trump presidency.M0Foe posted...SPMcGuilicutty posted...

This reminded me of a dark but funny joke. A guy is walking through town with his maga hat on and notices a small Mexican boy is obviously looking at him scared. He goes over and talks to the boy and ask what's wrong. The boy says we'll my parents came here illegally and I'm afraid your president will send them back to Mexico. The boy tears up at this. The man wipes his tears and says to the boy. Young man the last thing we want is to split your family up.... You have to go with them.Blue lives matter
