Yeah, that and the Joy-Con signal issue are the two things making me hesitant about getting one. Don't forget a 2 year protection plan just incase the thing has back draws. It is a brand new system so all the issues havent been found yet onthe system |
everytime i look at Canada's prices with games i remember when i had an ER visit at 22 for a nasty chest cold and high fever without insurance and my total bill was about 1,500$ and now i just pay 1k a year for health insurance and i don't feel so bad.

Yeah, I have Horizon, FFXV and Nioh to beat still so I am leaning towards waiting a little to see if the systems have problem and to see if it fails and drop prices in a couple of month. Still think it should have been 250$ US. |

Our economy is garbage it's strange your would say that before saying Switch is garbage considering how flawed, faulty and outdated the system, lacking standard features other platforms have, and expecting you to pay that much for it. even in US prices it is a scam and shameful for what it's selling for. |

You know you can preorder and pay a game off over the full span of its annoucement right?. 10$ a month for 2 years fully pays off those games Not so much the switch

The 'free' healthcare card that doesnt cover anything beyond basic appointments, etc?

Um... it covers anything that you go to a hospital for anything, for and appointments and under some circumstances, eye exams. I could go in for heart surgery, doesn't cost me a dime. Have Cancer? Treatments are covered. Popping out children? They just smile when it comes out and congratulate you. The only stuff that isn't covered is dental, most eye exams and meds/ prescription drugs. I guess cosmetics without actual medical reasoning don't count either.

Now that we have Obama Care, your free health system is looking better and better. We hopefully might not have it for long. Obamacare is the biggest lie ever.

$400 Canadian is $298 USD. Canadian price is cheaper than the U.S. price. You are thinking about it economically which you would be right however in essence we are pulling more cash out of our pockets than those who live in the states, which means less pocket cash . |

Optometrists, dentists, physio, prescriptions, psychiatrists, ambulances, etc are all not covered... and they are pricey. Even with whats covered, we are still spending a LOT of our income on 'basic' healthcare that sucks, essentially. My mother has been waiting years for a knee surgery, and my father waited 20+ years to have shoulder surgery... and he had about 6 different operations because they couldnt get it right the first time.

Most of that can be covered if you have a good job with benefits such as these. My job alone covers Most of the above without me paying a dime. |

Oh, you are paying for it. I was too. Benefits are not 'free.' You are paying a lot more than a 'dime.'
