Sexually Harassing a Gay

A Chambersburg woman is due in court Tuesday, accused of inappropriately touching and molesting a gay man to "mess" with him.

Rachel Nicole Acevedo, 36, is charged with misdemeanor indecent assault and a summary harassment citation, according to online court documents.

Charging documents filed at Magisterial District Judge T. R. Williams' office on Feb. 2 show that Acevedo was at a residence on Mount Rock Road, Southampton Township, on the evening of Jan. 20, into the early morning hours of Jan. 22.

During the incident, Acevedo was reportedly intoxicated, and sitting on a man's lap, disrespecting him. The man left the scene before Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg arrived because he was unhappy with how Acevedo's actions, according to court documents.

During a later interview, the man said that he was a guest at the house, and that Acevedo was intoxicated but he was not. He also stated that Acevedo knew he was gay, but did things like lick his face, sit on his lap, and try to grab at his crotch. The man said Acevedo also rubbed herself on him.

The man said Acevedo was told to get away from the man, but she stayed saying she was going to "mess with the gay guy," according to court documents.

Acevedo then held the man's face in her hands and licked his face. He pushed her away as she reached for his crotch.

Acevedo received a summons on the charge and citation on Feb. 23.
