ok, so i got my switch. red and blue joycons. so i just got done waiting 4 hours to get one, i pay for it. then i ask wgere are the games. this is what the employee said, and i quote: "I aint going all the way back to look for a game for you, get one tomorrow." so now im sitting at home making mii's. so now i got to go tomorrow, just to see if they had the energy to put the games on shelves.

This is why I f***ing hate Walmart, a game can come out I go to buy that same day and its not in the display case and the f***ers tell me they dont have it meanwhile I know they just dont want to go grab it from the back since some a****** is too lazy to stock the new games up front.

Sometimes that's the case, sometimes not. I use to work for Walmart, and I know with mine at least, we didn't always get the games on time. For example when Pokemon OR/AS we didn't get them in till a week after it released. Best way to find out, is to look at the MOD location. Look at the empty holes in the case, if the label is there for the game you want, odds are they have it. If there is no label for it, they don't have it.

After being told several times that all switch consoles were sold to those that preordered. I stood in line for thirty mins and got one. They cut open a new box of the neon joycon+console as I got in line. Walmart management are typically worse than the employees.

Took them a week to get it despite having the promotional posters up like a month and a held in advance.

I had a dude at best buy employee get visibly salty because I was able to return a faulty tablet for a full refund. The manufacturer was doing this willingly because of a known flaw. He was like nahh but then checked the computer and it told him to do it, lol. He looked salty as f*** when he saw that. He told me to make the line again for some stupid reason, I was like nope and just stood there and he was forced to help me.

As a former Wal-Mart employee, I must say that the employee treated you very rudely. I'm a passive aggressive type of person, and I've had my fair share of hogswinglings in my life, but even I would have asked for a manager to get my game after spending over $300 at their store. Judging by your post, I'd assume that the Electronics employee you were dealing with was female; you're a customer and you have your right to ask for merchandise.
If the item is in the back (even if on a palette stacked 20ft. high), they should still get it for the customer. In my five years working there, I've bent over backwards for customers even beyond the call of duty, and in the end, they were satisfied....it's a good feeling getting positive feedback from customers. By the end of my employment there, there were customers who would remember my name and would not want to anyone else to service them except for me, lol. Anyways, to make a long story short, go get your game(s), buddy!

Retail companies don't play. The customer always comes first. At the same time, people have their days HOWEVER, This guy was completely out of line, not to mention the now lost sale due to him not doing his job. Let HR see that on camera. Don't f*** with the companies profits.

I would definitely contact customer support or whatever they have an complain. I know just being a general employee can be exhausting, and they have to deal with s*** from crappy customers all the time, so I'm sympathetic to that. But to say to your face they don't care enough to help you is unacceptable. I'd call and just calmly say that you waited for hours at the store for the launch, spent hundreds of dollars and then were told by an employee no simply because that employee didn't care enough. You're a good customer and your experience was ruined for no reason. |

Wal-Mart's always have the worst customer service because they need bodies. You have to practically spit on customers to get fired from there.
On that merit, treat them like dirt when they give you attitude. Make a scene and hold up the line. Eventually a manager will be called and they'll do something to comp you and that loser will go home knowing his place.
