Just used the foam sleeve that the Switch came in.

Do you think this interferes in any way with the heat dissipation?

I am gentle, but some smudges (not scratches) were appearing every time I docked it and they made me worry. It might have just been residue from the little pad things, but...

Ah, good idea, TC. That can work until I can get some screen protectors.
Troll or hater getting you down? Don't worry. Just know that they force themselves to do what they do because of either jealous or envy of what you like.

Yeah, or they should have used a dongle that is like the ac adapter size that you simple plug into the usb slot while the Switch lies down on a table; nothing touching the screen at all.

Are you aware of the problems people are having with some HORI screen protectors? Take a look at the reviews, I think there was a bad batch of adhesive or the Switch gets too warm and rapidly degrades it. If you have the same issue as some of these people, I would highly recommend investing in a tempered glass screen protector.

Yeah, I know. It didn't make sense to me that there was problems with HORI so I did some research on it and found that the problems seem to be with their Premium Switch protector. The one that costs $20-$30. However, the normal $10 version is fine. So that's the one I ordered.

Even glass protectors use adhesive, so the heat will still loosen glass protectors
