Not against free speech, but anyone one who thinks Alex Jones isn't a lunatic has problems
Also, MIlo is just trying to make money and stay in the spot light. He doesn't believe half the stuff he says and like Jones has made money from a lot silly people. The results of this are not harmless as there is now a disproportionate hatred of 1.3 billion people on the planet because of their religious beliefs and half of America think they need to be armed to the teeth. The results are escalating world tensions and loads of americans being killed by themselves |

They're both garbage and they're so "anti-establishment" they're BFFs with the current President. Actually Jones is probably the fakest "anti-establishment" guy there is since he claims the government has committed half the major terrorist attacks and false flag shootings on one hand yet still tends to support most Republicans.
Milo is a despicable troll who got known by piggybacking off a dumbass fake scandal and spends most of his time getting people harassed. Neither should be banned from talking but both suck and don't deserve any notoriety.

There are limits to free speech. You cannot yell "fire" or "bomb" in a crowded room, you cannot threaten to kill someone. I believe that those limits also apply to speech that harms others either by inciting violence, hate and fear, or advocating illegal activities. People may disagree with me, but that is how I feel. People like Jones and Milo should not be allowed to say the things they do on a public forum.

zerooo0 posted...DragonBlood87 posted...Because they're liars. /thread Yes, you can when it pertains to private companies. You see, the first amendment doesn't just include freedom of speech or religion. It also includes freedom of association. In other words, private entities have the right to say "I don't want to do business with you." Trump, of course, thinks differently, insists that Macys dropping his clothing line for the racist crap he said about illegals violates and suppresses his freedom of speech. Reminder: the first amendment of the US constitution, which gives no allowances for abridgement, includes freedom of speech, religion, assembly, the press, and association.

He used him being gay that he isn't homophobic like some people claimed he was. He said that loving black men most shows he can't really be a racist when he faced backlash for not advocating BLM. He just has opinions some people find a bit controversial or even wrong. Doesn't mean he should be silenced. The fact he gains more and more followers each day shows that his message is real. There is a thirst in society for ending political correctness.

Again people seem to misunderstand what "free speech" means. Because of free speech, Milo can troll and say obnoxious or even pedophile-friendly things all he wants, and no one will arrest him. So he is not "banned" from saying or doing anything he has done. Similarly Alex Jones posted his insane conspiracy theory nonsense throughout the Obama administration and no one shut him down.
However, that doesn't mean Simon & Schuster have to pay him money to publish his books, or that organizations have to give him legitimate, respected positions. Similarly anyone who wants to put out respectable journalism should avoid Alex Jones like the plague and it is right that almost everyone dismisses what he does as tabloid lunacy.
