What's the point? At the end of the day it's Nintendo's IP's that will sell the Switch not how great the hardware is. People have been b****ing about the Switch being underpowered for months what incentive would there be to release a similar handheld?

People have been b****ing about the Switch being underpowered for months what incentive would there be to release a similar handheld? Nvidia could ensure that third parties are there, something Nintendo is notoriously bad at. Not that I think it will happen. So far, Switch hasn't proven that dedicated handhelds are still worthwhile.

The Switch is already based off the Nvidia Shield tablet in terms of hardware, not sure why Nvidia would buy a Switch to make their own console if your claim is true. You're also helping your friend break all kinds of NDA if you're blabbing off on a public forum what Nvidia is working on.
