Johnny Depp facing "financial crisis"

He probably just needs to get a few things in order, but clearly there's something not working out too well:

"The Pirates Of The Caribbean star spent tens of millions of dollars on homes, a chain of islands, private planes, jewellery and a yacht, it is claimed.

He spent an astonishing $30,000 a month on fine wines from around the world and needed 12 storage units to house his art masterpieces and memorabilia collections, the papers state. But the spending spree led the 53-year-old actor to the brink of financial ruin, alleges a lawsuit filed by Depp’s former business managers in Los Angeles county superior court."

"The Willy Wonka actor filed his own suit against The Management Group earlier this month, claiming his finances were mishandled and seeking at least $25 million compensation."

"Depp accused his former advisers of defrauding him out of millions of dollars, taking out loans without his approval and hiding his financial problems from him. He claimed he only learned of his plight when he was advised to sell off a large property in France to pay his debts."

"“Depp lived an ultra-extravagant lifestyle that often knowingly cost Depp in excess of $2 million per month to maintain, which he simply could not afford,” lawyer Michael Kump wrote in the cross-complaint. “Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today.”
