Texas teen who survived 3,000-foot fall in sky-diving accident wins $760,000 in lawsuit tl;dr: Dad: I hereby allow my daughter to jump. -later- Dad: Why the hell did they allow my precious baby girl to jump?

Dad: I would rather be a hypocrite than f*** up my own legal case
sucks that it clearly ran the owner of the jumping business out of his livelihood though i guess it sucks more that she nearly died and probably is crippled permanently in one way or another, but it's not really the business owner's fault

tl;dr: more like Dad: "I hereby allow my daughter to jump, assuming they'll train her properly to jump and they'll have safety precautions for inexperienced jumpers later Dad: "Why the hell did they allow her to jump not being properly trained and without safety precautions for inexperienced jumpers?"

more like They did everything they could to prepare her before and during the jump. Not their fault she freaked out and failed to follow instructions.
