This student's grade is more finished than Mankind was in 1998 after the Undertaker threw him off Hell in a Cell and he plummeted sixteen feet through an announcer's table

I'm still waiting for the day that leftists start crying referring to "male/female adapters" in cables, plumbing, etc. is sexist and oppressive. I could just see this... Standing outside the local home depot with signs "Plumbing fittings are gender neutral!!!"

Something similar to this actually happened to me - three mods on this board upheld a two-week suspension and 10KL for using the 'r-word' when talking about adjusting timing on an engine. The 'r-word' is the word that you use.

She should have followed the syllabus. No arguing that.
But it's concerning that stupid s*** like this is happening in the first place. Maybe. Just maybe stop pushing a stupid agenda and just educate.

LysistrataMedea posted... in the context of academia, avoiding gendered language has been standard practice since the 90s. an English major, where writing is a focus, should be especially wise to that sensibility. i feel like you already know this, too. but i'm not going to act like universities aren't a hub for leftist activity and thinking.

I'm sure @COVxy will explain for us how this isolated incident #329874323 is in no way indicative of a general problem on college campuses. How is it not an isolated incident lol... grading is arbitrary as f*** and she only took off 1 point. I've taken off way more points for using poor variable names in programs, which is equivalent to "style" which is what she lost points for.

Indeed, I'm sure what I would say is something closer to:
"Who the f*** cares about 1 point? Step back and get a little perspective. Your outrage is not proportionate to the event and is nothing more than partisan drivel."
=E[(x-E[x])(y-E[y])]http://www.heritage.org/education/report/education-statistics
According to the 2000 NAEP assessments, only 32 percent of 4th graders are proficient in reading, while a dismal 26 percent are proficient in mathematics, 29 percent in science, and 18 percent in history. Proficiency rates decline by the 12th grade in most subjects. Over half of all poor students fail to reach the basic level on NAEP assessments in most subjects.[1]
In 1998, 71 percent of students graduated on-time from high school. Just over half of minority students graduated.
Over the past 30 years, average per-pupil expenditures for public elementary and secondary schools have nearly doubled, rising from $3,367 in 1970 to $6,584 in 2000 in constant dollars.[8]
The average private school tuition nationwide, according to a 1996 Cato Institute study, was $3,116, with 67 percent of all private elementary and secondary schools charging $2,500 or less.[9]
Total K-12 federal, state, and local spending for Education, both public and private, climbed to over $420 billion for the 2000-2001 school year.[10]
Over half of all public schools reported a criminal incident to the police. Incidents ranged from fistfights, theft, or vandalism to serious violent crimes. 10 percent of schools reported serious violent crimes.[21]
@Darkman124 But no, it's just bulls*** I spout based on political bias. Seriously yer usually better than this. Don't know why you went full s*** post and arrogant.
