I checked the list of least worst performing crypto yesterday and did a quick google search on what they do. This is called researching. *some* projects have the potential to blow traditional business models out of the water. Fuck this mooncoin nonsense. Does anyone want to have a proper discussion about cryptos?
>guppy - social networking blockchain
>counterparty - bitcoin with smart contracts, build bitcoin infrastructure
>golem - distributed supercomputing
>aragon - autonomous company, company automation
>syscoin - blockchain marketplace ( decentralized amazon )

I did some research. Went in on Golem and Decred. I'm an idiot though so don't listen to me.

>digibyte - 10000%+ gains from rumors of integration in games, in reality there are no plans for such, president doesn't even have a tech background, zero social media presence
>rdd - pump and dump started on biz, was basically abandoned by developer for years, 2000% gains
>mooncoin - xxx% gains purely from biz shill threads and exchange chatrooms
>pivx: marginally better dash clone, from 1 cent to $3 in a month
what am I missing?
"Do your research" is a fucking meme. Wow, you read the whitepaper? That must've given you some deep insight. Any coin can pump, and any coin does, for no reason discernible by anyone but the people doing it, and certainly not because the project has any promise. People just look to explain the pump afterward to give themselves confidence about their investment and or to believe they know what the fuck they're doing so they don't feel like they're just gambling or playing on the winning side of a scam. That's it. Fundamental analysis in crypto trading involves studying the degree and effectiveness of shills.

coin price doesnt fluctuate based on their tech, it has to do with what shitcoin whales choose to pump/dump that day
