I think Kane will get a send off. It just won't be Taker level. Likely either they'll let him close out a quiet PPV or hour 2 of WM. I just hope he doesn't do the whole leaving the mask in the ring thing. Some pyro and walking away would work best. Hell if Taker is willing have the Deadman appear out of nowhere and congratulate him and raise his arm. Then Taker disappears so Kane can have his last moment to himself.

*Apollo Crews pins Kane on the opening match of RAW. After the commercial break, shot of Kane getting in the back of a turnip truck outside the arena. Truck drives away. This is not mentioned by the announcers at all.

Undertaker has main eventer 59 ppvs Kane has main eventer 23 that says it all here
Contrary to David Stern I don't know where the bodies are buried.
Double retirement match for both. Anything else is beneath both of them

Not in terms of kayfabe power but he's contributed just as much. He deserves a befitting send-off.

Yeah, he's been an at least upper mid card player since his debut and he's been in the company forever.

I'm sure he'll get SOMETHING for a sendoff. As long as he actually wants it, that is.

Not really. Not nearly as many good matches as Taker, practically no great ones.

Both are fairly iconic because of the attitude era though
He now exists in the darkness of deletion. Brother Nero is only a vessel of flesh that is empty on the inside. I deleted everything that made him special.

This is really what it comes down to in regards to Kane.

He may not get the same sendoff, but I bet his last match is 10 times better than Taker's and Kane won't look like an old grandpa who could barely walk since he will be smart enough to know when his body can't do it anymore.

Has kane done more for the wwe than taker? I mean sure legacy-wise taker is more huge, but last few yrs he's just been a mania gimmick.
Kane has been doing a lot more overall whether as a tag, switching btween gimmicks, etc. I know "corporate kane" was more a gimmick, but did he do stuff behind the scenes?

Taker didnt get a grand send off though. his last match was utter s***. his last feud was even worse.

the only reason his "send off" is of any value is because the crowd started chanting thank you taker which they had already done several different times so it wasnt even unique.

there were literally 1000 different ways to end undertaker's career and somehow someway the WWE choose the worst possible way.
When we first saw the Kane character, he was basically brought in as a skeleton in Taker's closet. Ever since then, the two characters have been both bitter enemies and close allies. Kane's send-off will be true to that history. I can see Taker being in Kane's corner when he has his final match.

In all honesty, i rather leave taker out. Kane's done enough for his own legacy

Kane's legacy has been built on being associated with Taker though.

Of course, it's probably indisputable that Taker has put more asses in seats than Kane over both their career spans, but I'd dare say that Kane has been as much of a "company guy" as Undertaker. He's taken every gimmick thrown at him and worked hard to make them work.

I'm not even a huge Kane fan and I would be royally pissed if his farewell was merely "WWE and Glenn Jacobs have mutually agreed to part ways. We wish Glenn Jacobs all the best in his future endeavours."

Who's to say kane hasn't helped taker's legacy? Kane deserves his own. Guy is 1 of the best in tag team, had a rumble streaks until reigns broke them, as well as several other accomplishments on his own

Kane doesn't have nearly the legacy of Undertaker and it's ridiculous that people think so. With that said, he deserves something of the sort.

I'd do it like this at the Royal Rumble:

Ring is full of jobbers duking it out

Kane's explosion/music hits and everyone in the ring stops what they're doing and stares

Kane starts walking down the ramp in his very first Big Red Machine attire; jobbers start clearing the ring, eliminating themselves and running for their lives, taking multiple throat thrusts as Kane walks down the ramp.

Kane enters ring, delivers promo in his "robot" voice, does his ring pyro and leaves.

The remaining time before the next entrant is in effect, a moment of silence. After the next entrant, the match resumes normally.

If the promo's a no-go, then you can have someone like an old legend(Lesnar?) or a current big star threat like AJ Styles stay in the ring to face him. Kane eliminates them, ring pyro, leaves.

on that note, kane really does deserve a RR win and a wrestlemania moment. and his RR win should include like 15 eliminations.

Kane deserves that. he held the RR elimination streak forever, reigns didnt deserve it, so let Kane get it back and keep it. even cut a few promos before the match claiming old school kane is coming back to do what he should have done a long time ago and dominate a RR like no one has seen before.

Kane's good enough that people could still buy him as a serious threat and he could get one more great run before he rides off into the sunset. Look at 2003 when they unmasked him, or 2010 when he won the World Title. Kane looked great at those times just with a little more serious booking. Of course it didn't last, but they could still pull it off.
